United Enterprises is non-profit organization that provides meaningful services as well as employment to individuals with disabilities. 1976Beginning
United Enterprises, Inc began in 1976 as Perry County Sheltered Workshop in Perryville MO. PCSW was started by Gilbert & Joan Regelsperger and Hubert & Rita Richardet who’s mission was to have a place where individuals with disabilities could come and have meaningful employment opportunities. The mission was personal as the Regelsperger’s and the Richardet’s each has a disabled child themselves.

MAKING MOVES
In 1979 PCSW moved to Brewer, MO. At Saint Elizabeth’s School until March 1980 when PCSW moved to its current location at 618 Industrial Drive Perryville, MO.
- 2014
GETTING A NEW NAME
In 2014 Perry County Sheltered Workshop changed its name to United Enterprises, Inc which it still originates today. For 43 years PCSW/UEI has met the employment needs of Individuals with Disabilities. 43 years later, some of the same disabled employees that started at PCSW are still working at United Enterprises, Inc. today.
